To a most benign man, a leading citizen most prudent and upright, Titus Flavius Frontinus Heraclius, excellent man (of equestrian status), augur, priest of the Laurentes of Lavinas, duumvir, on account of his exhibitions of a variety of pleasurable shows, the admirable public games that he organised and his incomparable love for his fatherland and fellow citizens; (scil. erected) by a vote of the most peaceful people and a decree of the most splendid city council.

Heraclius! Uomo quanto mai benigno, principalis quanto mai assennato e integerrimo, a Titus Flavius Frontinus Heraclius, uomo perfettissimo, augure, sacerdote Laurentium Lavinatium, duoviro, per aver offerto svariate forme di spettacoli,e per la mirabile rappresentazione di giochi, e per l’incomparabile amore nei confronti della patria e dei suoi concittadini, per suffragio del popolo quietissimo e decreto dell’ordine splendidissimo

(Statue of) Heraclius. To the most benign principalis, most prudent and most untainted, Titus Flavius Frontinus Heraclius, of perfectissimus rank, augur, priest of the Laurentes Lavinates, duovir. On account of the granting of various spectacles and the admirable giving of games, and of his incomparable love towards his fatherland and his citizens, by vote of the most peaceful people and by decree of the most splendid council (ordo) [this was set up].
