English translation

Translation by: J. M. Reynolds

To Tiberius Julius Frontinus, son of Tiberius, of the Roman voting tribe Papiria, flamen (priest) of the deified Augustus, the whole city council of the colony of Lepcis Magna decreed the statue to a deserving man; Tiberius Julius Fronto, son of Tiberius, satisfied by the honour, set it up at his own expense to a most indulgent father.
