0891. Fragmentary funerary inscription of Aurellius Nazmuri

Description: Two blocks from a Doric balustrade (w: 2.15 x h: 0.32 x d: 0.27, complete; and w: 1.05 x h: 0.32 x d: 0.27, left end broken). The frontage of the mausoleum measures w: 7.04, and these are probably the first and part of the last of three blocks forming the inscription.

Letters: Third century CE capitals: 0.07.

Findspot: Wādī Sawfajjīn: Wadi Nfed: Gasr el-Banat, (called Lachadié by De Mathuisieulx map ref. R 8906), lying in front of a well-preserved mausoleum.
