1192. Christian funerary text (Ain Zara cemetery)

Description: Very badly damaged tomb of rubble, with a plaster surface, w: 1.60 x h: 0.28 x d: 0.56, supported on a plinth w: 0.13-0.16.
Text: Incised, i on the south face, ii below, running perhaps from the north face, along the west and onto the south face. There are traces of a cross on the east face.
Letters: No measurements: larger than those on any other tomb in the area. In i, te in ligature; line 2 in smaller letters

Date: Fifth-sixth century CE (context, lettering)

Findspot: Tripoli: Ain Zara, cemetery, Tomb 52.
