of his father and grandfather, from an early age serving his country and his fellow-citizens, Marcus Vibius Arianus Geminus,
excellent man (of equestrian status), perpetual flamen (priest), pontifex (priest) of the provincial cult of Tripolitania (of the emperors) twice, duumvir, in accordance with the vote of the most peaceful people and the decree of the most splendid city council.

(Statue of) Amelius. For the manifold merits of his labours, and for the various kinds of delightful spectacles [he offered],
for which the examples of his father and grandfather were stimuli, [through which] he served from early age his fatherland
and his fellow citizens; to Marcus Vibius Annianus Geminus, of perfectissimus rank, perpetual flamen, pontifex, twice priest
of the province of Tripolitania, duovir. By acclamation of the most peaceful people and by decree of the most splendid council
(ordo) [this was set up].
