0005. Dedication to the Genius of Augustus

Description: Upper part of a moulded base (width x surviving height x depth w: 0.38 x h: 0.47 x d: 0.35) of coarse grey limestone.
Text: Inscribed on one face within a moulded panel (die w: 0.15 x h: 0.28); decorated on two sides with simple scroll and bird ornament. Socket for statue above.
Letters: Third century capitals: 0.035.
