of his arrival (scil. among us), they (the Lepcitanians) set (scil. this) up to Laenatius Romulus, excellent man (of equestrian status), governor of the province of Tripolitania, in accordance with a vote of the most peaceful people and a decree of the most
splendid city council, at their own expense.
