À l'Empereur Marc-Aurèle . . . un arc, construit grâce aux 120 mille sexterces légués par Avilius Castus pour ce monument et ses statues, grâce de plus à la somme x qui a été prise en supplément sur les finances publiques, a été dédié sous le proconsulat de Caius Septimius Severus et la légation proprétorienne de Lucius Septimius Severus.

For the Emperor Caesar Marcus Aurelius Antoninus Augustus, victor in Armenia, victor in Media, victor in Parthia, victor in Germany, chief priest, holding tribunician power for the twenty-eighth time, acclaimed victor ?times (left blank), consul ?times (left blank), father of the country, the arch (scil. built) from 120 thousand sesterces bequeathed for it, and for the statues, by Avilius Castus, and a further ? (left blank) which were added from public resources, was dedicated, when Caius Septimius Severus was proconsul and Lucius Septimius Severus was legate with praetorian powers.
